LAMH Recycle Ltd will be temporarily closing their doors
It is with a heavy heart that LAMH Recycle Ltd will be closing their doors today (23rd March 2020) – ceasing all services until safe to do so. We apologise to any customers this may affect but the safety of our staff and anyone we may come into contact with has to be paramount. This decision was not taken lightly It is not goodbye just a temporarily measure and we will see you on the otherside as things start getting back to normal. We took the first steps last week by safeguarding our volunteers and programme participants by asking them to stay home to protect themselves.
I have no doubt the more people who follow what the government is asking and refrain from all unnecessary contact the quicker we will be able to get back to some sort of normality and with less casualties.
So please all heed the advice and STAY SAFE. STAY AT HOME.
This is not extra holidays but a way to help our communities fight this virus.
On a final note we support a lot of vulnerable and isolated people and although our staff will not be working until safe to do so they have volunteered to be available for a chat or to give what support they can over our Facebook pages or website. This is a frightening time for everyone and we don’t want anyone to feel they are on their own so keep in contact and remember.
STAY SAFE ….. WASH HANDS…..AVOID CONTACT. STILL COMMUNICATE.
LAMH Recycle Ltd is a large Motherwell based Social Enterprise with charitable status
which provides workplace opportunities within a supportive environment for individuals who are long-term unemployed generally through long-standing health issues, family/personal circumstances and/or no previous or recent work history.
With over 18 years experience in providing safe, efficient and fully licensed IT Waste Management and WEEE Recycling services, our services are available across Central Scotland and beyond. We take care of all the paperwork involved in transporting your material.
Where permission is given, we also refurbish and reuse IT equipment extending equipment lifecycles. Where reuse is not an option, all remaining equipment is carefully dismantled to maximise recovery from individual components and material to ensure the highest possible levels of recyclability.
Our customer care team is always on hand to provide you with the best advice on meeting your compliance requirements and legal obligations.
